What is a project?
At giglancer, a project is a collection of work you have done for a client.
- Helped your client launch a cool mobile game?
- Implemented a new SEO and content strategy for a startup?
- Assisted a development team in building a new data warehouse?
- Delivered a custom animation with professional voiceover?
This is just a small list of examples of what a project can be. Think of past work you have completed that you want to showcase to future clients.
What is a portfolio?
A collection of projects is your portfolio. It is your way of showcasing the work you have done and highlight the value you can bring to new clients looking for a freelancer.
What info do I put in a project?
That is up to you, but we do have some example templates and helpful tips to get you started:
- 🤫 Not sure if you should mention the client by name? You could always give a general description of what they do and in what industry.
- 🔐 Need to limit access to a project due to an NDA or other confidentiality? You can change the privacy settings and password protect projects. Only share the password with people who need to see the project, and change it anytime.
- ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Did your client leave you a review? Brag about it! Include positive reviews and quotes.
- 🗣️What should I talk about? 📈 How your contributions and impact drove results for your client. 👩💻 The team dynamic and how you collaborated with your client. 💪 Challenges you faced and how you overcame them.
